Bolonia

This is a really nice spot in terms of nature and landscape. If no wind is blowing it is interesting to go to Bolonia and to visit its Roman Ruins.

When to go:

When Levante is blowing

If the Levante is blowing really strong in Valdevaqueros. Over here there will be some 5 knotts less. However, Levante is still a strong and gusty wind here.
Do not go in summer as then it is forbidden to kite.

With Thermal Poniente
When this wind is forecasted for 3 or more days, and if you want a change of scenery.

Distance from Tarifa town:
Bolonia is about 30 kilometers away from Tarifa going towards Cádiz. Half of this distance is a road that goes up and downhill and is quite a bendy road.
It will take you from half an hour to fourty minutes to get to Bolonia.

Prohibited areas:
Kiting is forbidden here the whole summer. The rest of the year you can ride on this beach, but, please respect Windsurfers as this is majorly a windsurfing spot.
This area is prohibited to kite up to the beginning of October.
