When to go :
When Levante is blowing strong or moderate

Whenever Levante is blowing quite strong in Tarifa, here you will have an on-shore milder and more steady wind.

Distance from Tarifa town:
Convenient spot to head for as it is only a half an hour drive from Tarifa. On this occasion, you will have to head towards Algeciras instead of towards Cádiz.
Take the bendy road where you see all the windmills. Once this road ends you will find two roundabouts. Keep straight in the first one and on the second turn right

Prohibited areas:
It is forbidden to ride here in Summer. The thermal here works differently in warm periods. By then the wind often decreases a bit after 2 PM.

Parking facilities:
There are nice parking facilities right at the beach. Bring some spare change though, as there always is a guy asking for money. It is better to give a euro or so, than having to worry about a possible new scratch in your car.
